Hulk Hogan buried the hatchet with Mick Foley.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley recently met up with Hulk Hogan for an episode of WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures. Foley was there to try and get some WCW era gear from Hogan, who took the opportunity to apologize to Foley for insulting him in the past. Hogan mocked Foley’s proclivity for deathmatches in 2002, and referred to him a glorified stuntman and a Terry Funk knockoff, among other remarks.

In the past, Foley shared how much those remarks hurt him. Hogan told Foley that he was speaking from a place of ignorance, and he was being stupid.

“People judge people in their ignorance,” Hogan said. “And to say you’re a cheap Terry Funk knockoff is almost as insulting as ignorant as I was when I said that you were a glorified stuntman. The fact was, I was ignorant. I didn’t understand what you were doing at the time. As the years went by, and I did understand what you’re doing, I just wished I got to work with you.

“And so I want to apologize for that. It was ignorant. I don’t know if I just had malice or if I was being mean or jealous. I don’t know. But I want to apologize because that was one of the worst things, and it’s not true,” Hogan added. “It was just me being stupid. I mean, really ignorant. We think we’re smart, but we’re not. Sometimes, you do stuff when you’re kind of stupid, and you regret them years later. I never really had a chance to say that to him. So it made my day-to-day to be able to see him.”
