Wild forward Marcus Johansson broke arm during Game 3 vs. Golden Knights

Minnesota Wild forward Marcus Johansson will likely miss the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Wild head coach Dean Evason confirmed Johansson suffered a broken arm during Game 3 of the team's first-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday, according to The Athletic's Michael Russo.

The injury occurred when Johansson barreled into the goal post after stepping on the puck while driving to the net.

It's unclear who will replace Johansson in Minnesota's lineup. When Evason was asked if it would be veteran Zach Parise, who has been a healthy scratch, he wouldn't say, according to Star Tribune Sports' Sarah McLellan.

Johansson failed to record a point in three playoff games. He notched six goals and eight assists in 36 regular-season contests.

The Golden Knights lead the series against Minnesota 2-1. The Wild will get the opportunity to tie the series on Saturday.
