NHL Friday bets: Four props to bring us into the weekend

We need to find us some consistency on the ice, and that starts tonight in what is a small but solid-looking slate in the NHL. We have a bit of everything here: shot props, a game prop, a point, and a player making a debut.

Max Domi over 2.5 SOG (+100 Barstool)

Chicago should be able to open up the shooting here against Arizona. The Coyotes have allowed 34 shots per game in their last 10 on the road and have had their penalty issues. Chicago has also found 31+ shots in four straight meetings with Arizona, so I'm confident we get the volume we need for some SOG props.

Max Domi at this price seems like a great bet. He's leading the Blackhawks in power-play shots over the last 10 and is over 2.5 in seven of his last 11 in Chicago.

He's loved seeing Arizona opposite him, going over this number in three straight meetings, including five and four shots in his last two meetings, the latter of which came a month ago.

PIT-ANA over 67.5 total shots (-112 Barstool)

I tested this market out yesterday for the Flyers after not being able to find a shooter I felt passionate about, and since we're on now a scorching 1-0 on said market, I'd like to run back another.

I love this number for Pittsburgh and Anaheim tonight, especially because not a single shooter truly caught my eye in this game despite both teams looking solid for shots.

The draw for Penguins shots is relatively straightforward. Anaheim is allowing 41.6 shots per game in their past 10 games at home. The Ducks should get involved in the fun too, seeing as Pittsburgh is allowing 33.5 shots per game in their last 10 on the road while also handing out some power-play chances to help buoy that shot total.

This 67.5 shot total has gone over in five of the last six games for both teams, and when they faced off on Jan. 16, the shot tally reached 74. Love this number, and love putting my feet up and rooting on shots everywhere without a sweat in the world about who it is doing the shooting.

.5u: Vladimir Tarasenko over 2.5 SOG (-120 DK)

It's Vladimir Tarasenko's first game as a Ranger, and I like the spot for him in his New York debut. Tarasenko has slid onto the Rangers top line alongside Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin, and it's a grouping I'm excited to watch.

Seattle can be stingy for shots sometimes, and given it's Tarasenko's first game on a new team, I'm bumping it down to a half-unit bet, but it checks off all the other boxes I'd like to see.

The Kraken are allowing the fifth-most shots to RWs over the last five games, Tarasenko has hit in three straight against them (three, four, five) and he's logged 3+ SOG in six of his past eight games. I like the price for New York's prized acquisition.

.5u: Boone Jenner point (-125 MGM)

I find these odds to be quite reasonable for a top-line center, regardless of opponent. Toronto has allowed 3.3 goals per game in their last ten as the visitor, and the Blue Jackets have chipped in 3.0/game at home over the same stretch.

Still no Auston Matthews, which helps make the Maple Leafs a more exploitable team, and Ilya Samonsov is in net who has allowed 12 goals in his last three starts.

Jenner is skating alongside Patrik Laine and Johnny Gaudreau, who both have been rock-solid with points, yet it's Jenner who is playable standalone. He has a point in two of his last three meetings with Toronto, four of his last six, and seven points in his past six at home.
