The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed Sheldon Dries, Guillaume Brisebois, and John Stevens to new contracts, the club announced Monday morning.

All three players signed two-way contract extensions with the club. Dries’ new deal is for two years, while Brisebois and Stevens signed for one year.

Dries, 28, scored 62 points (35 goals, 27 assists) in 54 American Hockey League games with the Abbotsford Canucks this season. The left-handed centre added three points (two goals, one assist) in 11 appearances with the Canucks in 2021–22.

Brisebois, a 24-year-old left-handed defenceman, appeared in 26 AHL games with Abbotsford in 2021–22, scoring two goals and seven points. The 2015 third-round pick also appeared in one NHL game with Vancouver.

Stevens, 28, finished fourth in Abbotsford team scoring last season with 43 points (19 goals, 24 assists) in 68 games. The 6’2″ centre has yet to make his NHL debut; his first season with Abbotsford was by far the most productive of his AHL career.

Vancouver now has 33 of the maximum of 50 players under contract for the 2022–23 season.
