The Arizona Cardinals pulled off one of the best fakes of the season.

The Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks were tied at 13 in the fourth quarter of their Week 18 game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Sunday.

Arizona had a fourth-and-3 at the Seattle 8 and made it seem like they were going to go for a field goal. They brought kicker Matt Prater onto the field and had him line up like he was going to kick. But then Prater shifted out wide to the left.

Instead, quarterback Kyler Murray went into shotgun and took a snap. He then fired a pass into the back of the end zone for Trey McBride, who caught an eight-yard touchdown to break the tie.

How did the Cardinals pull that off? They were sneaky and never actually had Murray exit the field, so he just ran back to take the surprising snap and throw the pass.

Pete Carroll was completely stunned by the play and didn’t seem to even know what had happened.

That touchdown and extra point gave the Cardinals a 20-13 lead. Seattle later drove to score a touchdown and added a two-point conversion to retake the lead.
