Watch Bolts Legendary QBs Honor Antonio Gates' HOF Induction
USA TODAY Sports

The Chargers organization is set to induct arguably the greatest player ever to don a Chargers uniform, Antonio Gates. He will officially be enshrined by the club where he spent his entire 16-year career.

The ceremony will take place at halftime at Sofi Stadium, and it will be a special moment for the organization, Gates, and the fans.

Prior to the ceremony, two of Gates's former signal callers, Drew Brees and Philip Rivers, showed some love to their favorite target.

These two quarterbacks made some big plays and threw a ton of touchdowns to the eight-time Pro Bowler.

Regardless of who was his quarterback, Gates still put up numbers. With his first QB in Brees, Antonio recorded 185 catches for 2,320 yards and scored 23 touchdowns in 40 games with the five-year Charger quarterback.

With Rivers under center, Gates was just as impressive. He recorded 774 catches for 9,543 yards and scored 95 touchdowns in 194 games. Gates and Rivers were teammates from 2003-2018. The two have linked up for the third list touchdowns of any quarterback/pass-catcher target pairing of all time.

Rivers is in the building to watch his future Hall of Fame teammate be enshrined, and it's only a matter of time before Philip is next.

Gates is fortunate enough to have two Hall of Fame quarterbacks distribute the ball to him throughout his career.
