The San Francisco 49ers are doing everything possible to retain Trent Williams before the veteran left tackle hits free agency on Monday.
According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the 49ers have made "strong offers" to Williams and "are hopeful" a deal will get done.

Williams admitted earlier this week that he's very open to returning to the 49ers. However, if San Francisco doesn't re-sign Williams, he'll be one of the most coveted free agents on the market this offseason.
The 32-year-old spent 10 seasons with the Washington Football Team before being traded to San Francisco prior to the 2020 campaign after sitting out all of 2019. He earned his eighth straight Pro Bowl selection last season.
