Raiders Under Contract: LT Kolton Miller
USA TODAY Sports

Left tackle Kolton Miller has proven to be everything the Las Vegas Raiders wanted when they selected him with the 15th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-8, 325-pound tackle was a foundational piece of the Raiders' current roster, and despite not having a Pro Bowl to his name, he has established himself as one of the league's best offensive tackles.

After three seasons in the league, the Raiders decided to extend Miller's contract with a three-year, $54-million contract in 2021. It was added to the two years that remained on his rookie contract.

At the time, Miller's average annual salary of $18 million per year made him the league's fifth highest-paid left tackle. He is under contract for two more seasons and will become an unrestricted free agent in 2026.

With the deal, Miller became the Raiders' first first-round draft pick since running back Darren McFadden in 2008 to receive an extension.

The contract seemed well worth it for the 2021 and 2022 seasons when Miller played and started in all but one of Las Vegas's 34 combined contests.

The veteran tackle ran into the first serious injury of his career this season when he suffered a shoulder injury before the Raiders' Week 10 game against the New York Jets. He would miss three of the next four games with said injury. Miller was on the injury report for the rest of the season.

While Miller was able to play in Las Vegas' final three games of the season, this shoulder injury does present a concern. Fortunately for him and the team, Miller now has months to recover.

The six-year Raider was named a team captain for the last two seasons.

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
