National pundit gives Los Angeles Rams the respect the team deserves

Punditry is, well, punditry.

However, the Los Angeles Rams appear to be one of the top teams among the NFL pundits who are pontificating on how good the Rams can be heading into the 2024 season.

Recently, Colin Cowherd placed the Rams as the fourth-best team in the entire league, setting the stage for what could be quarterback Matthew Stafford's last ride.

The list was curated coming out of the draft. It is clear Cowherd views the Rams' selections as littered with some top-level talent.

The only teams ahead of the Rams are the Detroit Lions, whom the Rams lost to in the playoffs, the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs.

For Los Angeles, a surprise team from the 2023 season, that is great company. Shocking, regarding Cowherd's list, is that the San Francisco 49ers didn't make the top five, coming in at No. 6. That seems like an extreme stretch. Still, maybe it speaks to how good Cowherd thinks the Rams can be in the 2024 season.
