Less than two weeks from the 2024 NFL Draft, suspense continues to build for round one. The Los Angeles are in the thick of that due to their fifth overall pick. A trade back is possible. They could also address needs on offense with that selection.
Wide receiver has often been the position for them in mock drafts, but could they go a different route than man expect?

Chargers fans have seen plenty of Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers in mock drafts for them. Rome Odunze has been an option, too. Now, fans must take an even closer look at offensive tackles.
Joe Alt from Notre Dame headlines the class as one of its best overall prospects. He and Rashawn Slater would create an elite OT duo in front of Justin Herbert.
Meanwhile, a trade back could land the Chargers a player like Alabama's J.C. Latham or Penn State's Olu Fashanu. Both are expected to be top 20 selections.
Regardless, Chargers fans may want to be prepared for a curveball from head coach Jim Harbaugh. He builds through the trenches. Always has - always will.
