Falcons open as a 2024 Super Bowl longshot
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Action Network and Fanduel have released their 2024 Super Bowl odds, and unsurprisingly, the Falcons aren’t at the top of their board:

The Falcons are the longest shot outside three miserable teams, tied with Tampa Bay for “last” on the board. Only the Texans, Cardinals, and Colts have worse odds — the Falcons are technically tied for the second-worst odds at +7500.

Obviously, this is all subject to change. The Falcons may look a lot better after free agency — on paper and for oddsmakers. If you’re bullish on the Falcons in free agency and in the draft for some reason, I’d go ahead and grab them now. If they add someone like Lamar Jackson or Derek Carr and address their defense in free agency, they’ll get a healthy bump.

For now, Vegas doesn’t seem to think they’re going to make much noise in 2023-2024. The good news for Falcons fans is the rest of the division isn’t much better. The Saints are +3500, and the Panthers are +5500, which is not exactly anything to write home about. However, if the Saints get into the Carr sweepstakes and the Panthers grab a franchise quarterback, Atlanta’s division outlook isn’t going to improve. We’ll see how this looks after free agency and the draft; it’s way too early to tell.
