Ex-Bills star rips team over poor seating accommodations

The Buffalo Bills invited T akeo Spikes to their Week 2 game as a special guest, but the former Pro Bowl linebacker did not exactly receive the royal treatment.

Spikes, who played for the Bills from 2003-2006, got fans at Highmark Stadium hyped up prior to Buffalo’s home opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. He later congratulated the Bills on their blowout win but criticized the team for the seating accommodations he was given.

Spikes shared a photo on X that showed him in some sort of suite that had an obstructed view of the field. Spikes said he “felt like I was in timeout.”

“Congrats to @BuffaloBills for getting a dominant win in home opener. I wish I could’ve stayed for the entire game but seating accomodations were NOT the standard,” Spikes wrote. “How you gonna have the @NFLLegends supporting with this obstructed sample size of a view!? Felt like I was in timeout.”

Keep in mind that the Bills are building a new stadium. We can almost guarantee their suites will have better views thanks to modern architectural advancements. Still, there have to be more desirable spots in the current stadium for a former player that was formally invited to attend.

Spikes, 46, made two Pro Bowls during his career, and both were when he was with the Bills. He also played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers.
