Dez Bryant 'beyond thankful' to be signed to Ravens' 53-man roster

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Dez Bryant completed the impossible last weekend against the Tennessee Titans, reeling in his first receptions since the 2017 campaign. After catching four-of-five targets against the Titans, it appears Bryant has been rewarded.

The 32-year-old announced Saturday that he has been signed to the Ravens' 53-man roster and is "beyond thankful" to have an opportunity to continue playing the sport he loves.

Bryant was originally signed to the Ravens' practice squad in October and has appeared in two games for John Harbaugh's squad, reeling in four catches for 28 yards.

Now that Bryant is officially on the 53-man roster, he's available to play Tuesday's game against the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. He'll also likely play against the Dallas Cowboys, where he starred from 2010-17, on Dec. 7.

A roster spot opened up for Bryant amid the Ravens' COVID-19 outbreak. Baltimore currently has 14 players on the reserve/COVID list.

In 115 games, the three-time Pro Bowler has 535 receptions for 7,487 yards and 73 touchdowns.
