Could Ravens draft Lamar Jackson 2.0?

It feels as though Lamar Jackson will be the quarterback of the Ravens this year. But with the uncertainly surrounding his future with the team past 2023, could Baltimore add the next Lamar Jackson in the 2023 NFL Draft?

It's a possibility. If the Ravens want to stay on good terms with Jackson as they attempt to bring him back, it probably wouldn't be the best idea to use a high draft pick on a quarterback.

Enter QB Malik Cunningham, a late-round prospect who broke Jackson's Louisville record for total touchdowns. He has told teams that he's willing to do whatever it takes to help them when, including playing a hybrid role.

Cunningham threw for 9,191 yards, 69 touchdowns and 28 interceptions from 2019-22. He also added 2,687 yards and 45 touchdowns on the ground during the span.

He ranks as Pro Football Focus's No. 229 overall prospect and the 12th-best quarterback on its big board. A lot of teams overlooked Jackson and it seems to be a similar case with Cunningham.

Baltimore only has five picks in the draft. However, if they can land Cunningham with one of their last picks, they may just end up with another overlooked Louisville dual-threat quarterback ready to take the league by storm.
