On Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs made a roster move, almost undoing one they made on Saturday.
Last Saturday, the Chiefs waived veteran defensive tackle Matt Dickerson to make room for WR Mecole Hardman, who was activated from IR. On Tuesday, they signed Dickerson back to the practice squad.
Dickerson has played 171 total snaps for the Chiefs in 2023, broken up into 11 games. Six of those snaps were special teams snaps, and 165 of them were on defense.
Dickerson has 12 tackles on the year and has, at times, been a liability on the defense.
The Chiefs defensive line room is stacked, so it will be hard for him to see the field more as the year goes on, but it's not impossible that he gets called up.
DT Matt Dickerson returned to the Chiefs today signing with the practice squad. He was waived Saturday to make room for the activation of WR Mecole Hardman.
