Carolina Panthers fans get added excitement regarding 2024 rookie class

It is almost time for the Carolina Panthers to get the first look at its 2024 rookie class. 

Rookie minicamp is set to begin on May 10, meaning the Panthers' draft selections and undrafted free agent signings are getting their first NFL numbers. 

Other than wide receiver Xavier Legette, no Panthers rookie is locked into a number. Here is a look at what number each player will be rocking via the Panthers' official team website. 

• 17 — WR Xavier Legette
• 24 — RB Jonathon Brooks
• 26 — CB Chau Smith-Wade
• 41 — LB Michael Barrett
• 56 — LB Trevin Wallace
• 85 — TE Ja'Tavion Sanders
• 96 — DE Jaden Crumedy

No numbers are official until the start of the regular season. Still, seeing the Panthers rookies dawning their numbers adds to the excitement already flowing throughout Charlotte.
