Eagles hosted Alabama CB Terrion Arnold for top 30 visit ahead of NFL draft
Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles are wrapping up their top 30 visits ahead of next week's 2024 NFL Draft.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Eagles recently met with Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold

Arnold, 21, is amongst the top cornerbacks in this year's draft class and is projected to be the first corner to go off the draft board by many.

As a redshirt sophomore in 2023, Arnold was named first-team All-American honors after logging 63 tackles, 5 interceptions, a sack, and one forced fumble

Through 25 games with the Crimson Tide, Arnold racked up 108 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, a sack, one recovery, 6 interceptions, and 20 pass deflections.

Per Dan Bruglar's 2024 NFL Draft guide, Arnold offers versatility with the ability to play inside or outside and will be an immediate wherever he lands:

Arnold is fluid when he opens up with speed, gear-down skills and body control to stay in phase with basic or sophisticated routes. With average recovery skills, he needs to continue developing his discipline versus both pass and the run, but his awareness for the football is outstanding, and he plays with urgency in run support. Overall, Arnold offers an ideal blend of cover athleticism and competitive makeup, with the ball skills to make plays at every level of the field. He is scheme- versatile and has the talent to work inside or outside. He can be an NFL team’s No. 1 cornerback, offering a skill set similar to that of the Chicago Bears’ Jaylon Johnson

The Eagles, who haven't drafted a cornerback in the first round since 2002, pick at No. 22 in Round 1 this year.
